The Photographer
Thilo Weimar loves photography and people – and Lake Garda. Born 1973 in Tübingen, South Germany, he’s now living in Bardolino since the beginning of 2009, where he offers his photographic services.
Lake Garda is an ideal place for a multitude of activities and surely there are many special moments which you would like to capture and which require a motivated and flexible photographer.

Thilo Weimar can provide excellent references. In addition to numerous publications in international magazines, he’s working as exclusive photographer for the department of tourism of the Province of Verona, for which he’s capturing the most beautiful sceneries around Lake Garda and the Verona region. Other prestigious clients include the German Design Council and he is collaborating with all the leading event agencies in the region. Furthermore Thilo Weimar has been photographing many restaurants and hotels in Italy and abroad.

Background
After travelling to Lake Garda for many years for holidays and weekends, Thilo Weimar finally decided to settle down in this paradise between lake and mountains at the beginning of 2009. With plenty of photo opportunities everywhere around, he didn’t have to wait long for numerous bookings. And so his passion became his profession.
Because actually everything was planned differently: Thilo Weimar followed his career path as molecular biologist with flying colours and moved to the UK after his PhD to work as scientist at the University of Cambridge.
But the enthusiasm for photography, which started very early, matured to downright passion during his studies in Tübingen and Rome and slowly took up more and more time. And this time, passion and experience is what Thilo Weimar is offering now to you. |
