GardaCharter hires boats for a few days at a time. There are 11 different types of motor boat and with all of them one can freely explore almost everywhere on the lake. Just the northernmost end of the lake is out of bounds for motor boats. To steer some of the boats a driving license for boats is necessary, but there are also models which do not require any previous knowledge or experience. The location of handing over at the Porto Nuovo in Lazise can be reached directly by car and there one can also leave one’s car while out with the boat. After you have paid a deposit you can start immediately. The cost of petrol is charged separately from the rental price and depends on how much petrol is consumed.
The boats
For hire are 11 different motor boats of the following makes: Bayliner, Maxum, Sea Ray, Mostes and Ranieri Shark. The latter can be hired without a license. All boats on hire offer room for 6 to 8 persons. Mostes Pegasus 22 has also a small cabin. |
