A relaxing oasis in unique panoramic position
The cosy mountain hut „La Baita“ is situated along the panoramic road between Caprino Veronese and Spiazzi, about a 15 minute drive from lake Garda, on the foot of famous Monte Baldo. The restaurant is located in a truly unique position and offers spectacular panoramic views on lake Garda and its picturesque south eastern hinterland. On clear days you can look until Sirmione on the very southern point of lake garda and sometimes you can even see the opposite shore!
"La Baita" is a tranquil oasis surrounded by nature. A large meadow with shady trees and a refreshing breeze during summer invites to pass relaxing hours away from the rush of lake Garda. Families will be surprised by the numerous possibilites for their kids to play and have fun as there is a children’s playground, a mini golf course and lots of space to improve once soccer abilities. Dogs are welcome and a special equipped „Dog-Restaurant“ offers some refreshments and a shady place for your four-legged friends.
“La Baita” is not only a panoramic fun place to relax, but first of all a traditional restaurant and the chef, Roberto Panizzolo, offers its guests a vast range of carefully prepared local food. Just take a seat, order some "bianco“ or “rosso" (white- or red wine of the house) and Roberto will start your culinary experience with a selection of different startes, followed by three different types of homemade pasta, a huge bbq-platter prepared by wife Alida and daughter Eleonora’s delicious deserts. Robertos other daughter, Beatrice, will then recommend you a homemade “Limoncello”, a special italian lemon spirit, good for digesting the extensiv meal!
