Restaurant
Hotel Castello is a charming place to stay with its own restaurant. It is situated in Tignale and thus in the heart of National Park Alto Garda Bresciano. The restaurant under the management of chef Paolo offers an ideal opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal on the beautiful high plateau on the north-western shore of Lake Garda. Excellent ingredients are used to prepare tasty meals, while the chef follows traditions which are typical for this region. Paolo has been collecting his “professional secrets“ in various well-known restaurants by the lake. He is combining these with traditional practices used in his family.
Cookery courses
With its cookery courses Restaurant Castello offers a very nice opportunity to improve one’s cooking skills. In a pleasant and friendly atmosphere participants of the course are given a basic understanding of Italian cuisine. Everyday life in a kitchen should no longer cause any worries after participation of this course. Included in the course fees are: - 2 days full board - 1 day half board - 8 / 10 hours of lessons - apron, cap etc. are provided - excursion to the visitors’ centre of the regional park of Alto Garda

110 € partners, who do not attend the course
For guests, who stay in the hotel for a longer period, the course fee comes to only 65 €!

Surroundings
Tignale is a paradise for nature-lovers and outdoor-sportspeople. On the high plateau up the north-western side of the lake there are numerous possibilities for hikes, mountain bike tours and trekking tours on horseback. A cultural as well as scenic gem of Tignale is the pilgrimage church of Madonna di Montecastello. |
