Excursion to Santuario Madonna della Corona and Castello di Avio |

From Brentino – a small village on the eastern side of Monte Baldo –you can reach the Santuario Madonna della Corona after a two-hour walk on a pilgrim’s path (uphill most of the time). The well-known place of pilgrimage seems to nestle into a steep rock cliff at a dizzy height and this spectacular position alone merits a visit. Not far from there is Avio with the Castello di Avio. The castle is one of the most important fortresses in Trentino and worth a visit due to its fantastic views and its beautiful gardens.
