 | | On 5th May, in Brescia, the „Mille Miglia“ once again takes to the streets. Around 400 of the most precious historic cars follow the legendary „Mille Miglia“ route. On the evening of 18th May they return to Brescia where they’ll find spectators lining the streets. |

 | | Towards the end of the 14th century a young captain is said to have been madly in love with a beautiful nymph of the River Mincio. Due to the hopelessness of their love the captain together with his lovely nymph jumped to their death in the Mincio. As a symbol of their eternal love the couple left a golden silk handkerchief, into which they had tied a knot, by the riverbank. In order to remember the story of the star-crossed lovers the women of Valeggio prepared a pasta shaped in the golden love knot and enriched it with a delicious filling. |
