Museum The Museo Nicolis is dedicated to the development of cars, techniques and mechanics of the last two centuries.
This vast collection shows cars, motorbikes and bicycles which have played an important role in the history of transport. A collection of airplanes, cameras, musical instruments, typewriters, motors and other valuable curiosities supplements the impressive collection.
This unique collection regarding number and variety of the exponents is the result of Nicolis’s passion as well as his patient work, which is characterized by searching, researching and restructuring. The collection is meant to be a homage to days gone by and an incentive for our future. Inside the museum you can follow several possible routes, which offer the visitor the opportunity of approaching the exposed objects in many various ways.
The museum is also dedicated to other themes from the world of technique and mechanics. You can find, for example, special exhibitions on musical instruments, typewriters, cameras, etc.
All pieces are exhibited in a modern building made of steel and glass. These surroundings highlight perfectly the rareness and perfection of the collection of unforgettable objects dating from the past.
Service The immense significance of the exhibition and its cultural value have lead to the development of an educational sector in this museum, which gives schools the possibility to have specially arranged guided tours. In cooperation with the class teacher special topics, which form part of the school curriculum and are suited to the students’ age and knowledge, are being dealt with.
