Position
Villa Sostaga is situated only a few minutes from the picturesque village of Gargnano and the shores of Lake Garda. The stylish building, which dates back to the end of the 19th century, is surrounded by woodlands and pastures and is located on top of a hill from where you have a marvellous view over Lake Garda.
Service
Nowadays, the Villa has 11 stylishly furnished double rooms with lake- and park-view, which offer quiet and comfortable accommodation and come with telephone, Satellite TV, internet point, minibar and room safe. Moreover, in an annexe there is a 42 m² 2-room apartment with an antique fireplace, a rustic stone-floor and a magnificent vintage flair. The commual rooms of Villa Sostaga guarantee the tranquillity and relaxation of a private villa, but at the same time offer the exquisite service of a top hotel. The terrace is an ideal place to enjoy the excellent cuisine of the restaurant, which is part of the hotel. Whilst dining, you will be able to enjoy the splendid view over the lake whilst being fanned by a light breeze. But it is just as romantic to dine under a shady gazebo or the stone arcade.
In the cosy drawing room, located between the first and second floor, guests have an internet point at their disposal. In the basement of the Villa guests can find the wellness centre where they can enjoy a Turkish bath and a solar shower, which – after making an appointment at reception – are at their disposal. There is also a shiatsu-masseuse and a beautician who will take care of your well-being, again by appointment only. To sunbathe and relax there is a beautiful swimming pool in the picturesque park Villa Sostaga. The villa also offers three comfortable function rooms, which are ideal for smaller sized conferences and can be equipped with the latest modern technology.
Surroundings
In the immediate surroundings of the Villa Sostaga lovers of water sports and fans of the mountains alike are certainly getting their money’s worth. A golf course is only a stone’s throw away from the Villa. In Gargnano-Bogliaco visitors can admire Palazzo Bettoni, the largest palace on Lake Garda. The few houses that are found in this part of the small town are centred around a beautiful small port, where every September the „Centomiglia“ takes place – the most widely known sailing regatta on Lake Garda. The cities of Brescia, Verona, Mantua or Trento can easily be reached from Gargnano even for a day trip and the opposite shore of the Lake is also within easy reach as it is being served by the car ferry, which departs from neighbouring Maderno.
