Position
Hotel Villa Maria, which is open all year, is located in the beautiful small town of Desenzano. The hotel is surrounded by a nicely laid-out park with the size of 15,000 sm. The centre of Desenzano is about 2 kilometres away from the hotel and the beach can easily be reached after a few minutes walk through the park.
Services
The completely newly restored 4-star hotel offers 40 luxurious rooms and small bungalows which come with every comfort. In this holiday resort guests can also enjoy a swimming pool with play pool for children, a tennis court, a bowling green and a bike hire, which is free of charge. Moreover, the hotel also offers its guests a restaurant, a cosy bar, a snack bar on the swimming pool and a car park.
Facilities
Hotel Villa Maria also offers a congress centre which seats 150 persons and is equipped with the most modern technique. The catering, which varies depending on the size and type of event, is undertaken by the hotel. An exclusive restaurant forms part of the hotel. It offers rooms and banqueting halls which can accommodate up to 200 persons and where receptions can be held.
Surroundings
Desenzano, the most affluent and biggest of the towns on the lake, can boast of a beautiful and romantic centre. There are a lot of shopping possibilities and it is pleasant to go for a stroll alongside the pretty yachting harbour. The selection of high-quality restaurants, bars and clubs is impressive. Day trips to the beautiful region of the hilly hinterland and to the numerous sights in the nearby area are some of the most appealing attractions. The surroundings are ideal for cycling and hiking tours. Due to excellent train connections day trips to the larger cities can easily be realised.
