Position
Hotel San Filis, which is open all year round, is located in the old town centre of San Felice del Benaco, a place full of character on the western shore of Lake Garda which captivates its visitors thanks to its romantic flair. The former residence which now houses the hotel dates from the 16th century and has recently been renovated. Up to the present day the building has kept a charm which is typical of buildings in the Lake Garda region. The lakeshore is about 800 metres from the hotel.
Services
Hotel San Filis offers 25 comfortable rooms which are distributed over several floors. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, direct-dial phone and air-conditioning. In the morning guests can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet which is served in the restaurant. In the summer the restaurant turns into a splendid veranda overlooking the garden and swimming pool. The hotel is a family-business. It offers additional rooms where guests can either relax or enjoy sitting together. There are a TV-room with Satellite TV, a cozy bar and an inner courtyard with shady galleries. Outdoors a swimming pool with plenty of deckchairs and towels invites the guests to linger. At an extra charge pets are welcome in this hotel.
Restaurant
The hotel’s restaurant offers dishes from the region and fish dishes. But one can also enjoy delicacies from other regions of Italy. All dishes are lovingly prepared and during preparation old traditions are adhered to. Nevertheless, international guests may relish a variety of delicacies. Even gluten-free meals, meals for children and vegetarian dishes are on offer. The wine menu offers a huge selection of first-class wines as the wine-cellar of the restaurant is excellent.
Surroundings
The hotel is located in the middle of beautiful surroundings and an area rich in historical sights. Nearby well-kept beaches, several golf courses and tennis courts await the guests. Around Lake Garda and in important cultural cities, which are not too far away and can easily be reached by car, numerous cultural events and light entertainment programmes take place.
